I had more faeries visit my altar last night. They had changed the pinecone I had put on it with Sapphires on top. The pinecone's top was pressed more open and the sapphires were arranged more pleasingly. I share my peppermint tea with them too. I added more stuff to y altar yesterday. The pinecone and sapphires, plus some flatbread I'd baked myself, and a few of my bird's feathers that he molted, and mud I found with either a gopher or squirrel print pressed into it. The sapphires are from Gem Mountain in Montana. I want to make some crisp rosemary flatbread for them next. They've kind of given me the inspiration to try cooking new things and I just feel more positive now that they come around.

I've recently had a very mysterouis encounter. My six-year old cousin was watching TinkerBell the movie and was getting dressed up as her for fun. She said she was going to get her wand from upstairs, then she came rushing down the stairs screaming with excitment.

"I was saw tinkerbell, tinkerbell!" She rushed, jumping up and down.

Of course I didn't believe her at first, since she was in fact a six-year old. But she was so convincing that she saw tinkerbell. So I went upstairs to see nothing. Just normal, but as I was about to go just from the corner of my eye. I did see an outline of a glimmering figure, with flapping possibly winter white wings. But I couldn't see the face, for a moment I thought I was crazy; but then really weird stuff started to happen around the house.

Things have been mis-matched, basically shiny things. And even the garden started to have more widlife, like birds nested on top of the tree. Coloforul tulips, sunflowers, rose petals started to grow. And the grass had a lush relaxing green colour to it, compared to the other garden. Of course I didn't just to a fairy conclusion, but it could of happend.  Cool

Greetings - sorry I'm new to this wonderful web experience and I think I may have posted this already in the wrong area.  If so, please forgive my ignorance!

Last night, something very odd happened to me.  It was the full moon and my roommate and I were energized and talking about mystical stuff and standing on the deck.  I was leaning against the rail standing sideways talking to her and all of a sudden I see this white flash out of the corner of my eye and felt something brush against my face, slightly pull my hair and it was gone.  I could actually hear wings beating really fast like a hummingbird.  It couldn't of been a moth because the wings
were way too powerful.  Anyway - so I looked at my roommate and said "Did you see that?  What was it a giant moth?" and her mouth was wide open and she couldn't speak for a minute, then she said "It was a fairy! A fairy just kissed you on the cheek!"  I said "Are you sure it wasn't a moth? and she said "No, I'm sure what I saw!"  She often sees things from other realms, so seeing something wasn't new to her, but she said it was the most awesome thing she'd ever seen.   When I finally went to bed, every time I closed my eyes, I saw fairies.  I barely slept and don't remember any dreams at all.  I feel really strange today, and am really having difficult doing simple tasks.

Oh my gosh journalgirl that sounds so cool!

Well you might be a little frazzled or excited about the encounter so you barley slept due to that. Lack of sleep makes for less work being done like simple tasks - get a good night sleep and ask the Fay to help you rember your dreams. Helps me (:

It was very cool, but if my roommate hadn't seen it, I think I would be wondering if it really happened!  I'm still in awe, feel incredibly honored, and blest.  I think that's probably true about excitement and sleep - we'll see what happens tonight  Thanks for your insight.  I've been dying to tell someone all day, but I am afraid they'd think me crazy!  At least I can talk about it with the other person who was there.  😀

I was the same today Journalgirl!

lol well yesterday i was planting my raspberry runners my grandma gave me, nothing too cool had happened over the past few days so i was kinda bummed. Then I found a chant online to say that draw out the fay - I ran inside grabbed the paper i had it written down on and said it three times before I went back to planting my runners. After a few minutes of planting i went to get the hose and water the plants and my runners, well on my way back form the hose right next to me was the bird bath and a red robin was sitting there watching me. I told him/her hello and thanked the fay for the visit also told the bird if he/she came back everyday i would clean it everyday, then he/she went to drinking the water and right then a breeze blew and the bird looked up closed its eyes and let the wind blow through it - so fricken CUTE! I was so great full for the visit because that bird let me get so close to it and even let my cousins boyfriend touch him/her.

I'm not really sure if this is an actual encounter or something, but here it is. I have a jewelry box that have four drawers and one ring drawer (it can be pulled down and out and has different notches made of fabric to put rings in). If you pull open one of the drawers, music plays from it like a music box. Anyways, sometimes I will look at my jewelry box and one of the drawers will have been pulled out all the way and turned around, where the front side of the drawer is inside of the box and the back side is showing outside. I have no idea why this happens, as I rarely look in my jewelry box, I have no sisters (just a teenage brother who wouldn't come in my room and mess with it), and my mom wouldn't mess with it either. I think that maybe some pixies are pulling a prank on me!

Hey everyone! I personally have not had anything most people would consider a fairy encounter, but I have been right near fairys and interacted with them. The main problem is though I can never see them. Strangely, I can feel them. Like before I was in the woods with one of my friends who also believes in fairys. I had the wierdest feeling that we were being watched, or more like studied. I had the feeling that what was watching us was at a neutral state, and didnt understand who or even what we are. I didnt look towards it though, because I had forgotten my glasses that day and I knew to see whatever was looking at us, I would have to look very closely and for a long time, which I figured might scare it away. But then, my friend kind of just whispered to me casually that there was a little man, with a long gray beard wearing earth colored clothing, who was standing behind a tree watching us. I tried to look over quickly several times, but I saw nothing. I only felt his presense. I told my friend when we got back to his house I think its a dwarf. My friend is interested in fairys, but he is really bad at remembering different kinds of fairys and stuff like that. He didnt even know what a dwarf really is at that point. So, I showed him a drawing of a dwarf in a book i have, and it matched his decription, even though he had never heard of dwarves, or seen the picture. So, does anyone here have any reason I never see fairys, but I can feel them? I have tried researching myself, but I cant find an answer. So, if you have any input, please reply.

Hi Philip!   When you described that Being who was watching you,  to me ,  he sounded like a Gnome-    I have felt the presence of unseen Beings near me as well --    and once when i was taking a walk in the woods with an exboyfriend years ago, (before my first Faery encounter)   I also felt I was being watched--  very strongly actually.     I felt as though our presence was a bit unsettling to whomever was watching us- as they were not so sure what we were up to--   that area was a private "no trespassing" area near a corporate center.   It was also heavily wooded , however.         I looked all around to see who was watching us, but could not see anyone hiding anywhere.   I asked my ex-boyfriend if we could please leave- because this feeling made me feel guilty that I was intruding there.   He also felt the same sense as well.

Seems you have the psychic gift of being able to sense presences --   we all have it to some degree, but many don't excersize this gift, so it goes stagnant.   The more you excersize these gifts, the stronger they get.         My pastor mentioned to us recently at our church retreat that psychic gifts are very real, however they are confused often with being Spiritual--   We are given not only physical senses,  but also psychic senses as well as Spiritual senses--- which are even at an even higher level than psychic.    Most mankind basically relies on only our physical senses.    Some who do excersize their psychic gifts can place too much obsession over them to where they can never get past them to grow the spiritual senses.     A human was intended to use all three sets of senses in harmony--   not just the physical , nor even just the psychic- but also the spiritual senses.     Sufferings and hardships in life actually serve to strengthen the spiritual senses!-- so that's good news 🙂

I totally believe you that you senses a gnome or dwarf.     I also felt the presence of one watching me near some ferns once and I take these intelligent , wise Beings very seriously.     Some have had distinct visible encounters with them.

After my initial Faery encounter back in 2008--  I was so excited that these Beings in the  unseen realms actually exist- that i had to make a whole bunch of Faery cottages-     I felt strongly to make a gnomes cottaqe too- and I actually asked out loud if any gnomes could help me find materials for their cottage.         One of these Beings must have heard me-  because as I walked through the woods near our home, I kept finding things right in front of me perfect for the cottage-- including a perfectly carved shape of antique barn door wood I was able to use as the base---that fit perfectly.       I glued alot of stones and bark on it- including a chunk of amythest.

As I completed it, I told our dog, Mindy (who was a pup at the time)  "Mindy, don't mess with the "Gnomes Home"!

As soon as I said this, I telepathically heard a correction-   "Gnomes MOTEL!" was the reply-     and totally got the point-- that it was not something they would live in, but a good-will gesture to make them feel Welcome and connected with me.

Here is a testimony of someone who encountered one of these Beings during meditation-  They assumed it was  a "leprechaun", but actually, thats just the label we humans give the various groups of these Beings.

http://www.spiritualforums.com.....hp?t=36919

Several years ago while I was in deep meditation, I suddenly popped up in front of a leprechaun! Yes, truly a leprechaun.
He was really surprised to see me and said telepathically to me, "your kind aren't supposed to be here".
I could sense that this was an incredibly old being and very wise.
His clothes were very old and it looked like he had been just working when I came upon him.
Previous to this I believed leprechauns, fairies and such to be just folklore.
Now I know without doubt that they really do exist, albeit in a different dimension.
I had an opportunity to speak to an expert in this field and he told me that usually when people see them it is because they come to THEM, but that in my case, I came to HIM.

What I believe to be my first fae experience was actually my first memory. Whether it was a dream or not, I don't know, but either way I do believe that they came in contact with me.
In my first memory, I woke up in the room I was staying in, wrapped in white blankets with my baby pillow next to me. I looked down over my chest, and found myself staring at a pure black butterfly or moth-like creature. I remember that I didn't know the word for it, yet I felt like I knew what it was. I tried to reach for it, but it flew off as soon as I came close. I remember being scared by the sudden movement, but I couldn't put it into words so instead I started crying. My Dad immediately ran over and picked me up, and that's where it blacks out again.
Going through some baby videos of my with my Dad, we found the earliest one and I was shocked to see the same room with the white blankets, teddy bear-printed pillow with a red border on the fabric, and wood walls. As he said in the video, though, I was only about 2 weeks old at the time of filming, which freaked me out even more, because if that was around the time of the memory, by rights I shouldn't have it at all.
I've never really been able to explain it besides the fae. My parents don't remember it, and there's no way a pure black butterfly moth would have found its way indoors around January in Washington State. If it was a dream, it's still bizarre that it would be so incredibly vivid and infant-like.

Wow! First of all, it is not unusual for infants to retain some event in thier memory-- even years later remembering the event.

I was only a few weeks old and have a clear memory of being held by  my mother and handed over to my great grandmother so she could see me.  The scene was in front of my grandparent's home, and we were on the sidewalk in front of the home.   My great grandmother could only speak Italian-- and throughout my entire childhood up until now, I hold that memory of watching her as an infant as I was being handed to her by my mother.  I even remember thinking how odd it was that she didnt speak like my parents did.      As a child, when I mentioned this memory to my parents , my mother was shocked and said that this definitely happened -- and then later they showed me the photo my uncle took of all of them in a circle holding me with my great grandmother right there!    So babies do remember certain events that affect them!

Secondly,   I  have to mention that while I was watering some plants on our patio yesterday morning, a mysterious LARGE black butterfly-like creature flew up off of the ground from under the patio table and flew off-   I was taken aback, as it was not a bird- but very large for a butterfly also.     Your testimony reminds me of what i saw!    Strangly,  I dont think anyone else around me saw it- just me.

P.S. .I want to mention that the purple Nightshade flower photo you have as your signature photo is one of the flowering vines that sprung up "on it's own"  in my Faery's Garden--  the hummingbirds and bees love it!

Interesting. I'd love to know what fae these might represent.

I've always equated Nightshade with the darker fae. Not necessarily the Unseelie, but night-ruling spring and summer fae.

I can see that as Nightshade loves shady areas with alot of moisture..     It's a very pretty little purple dangly flower too-  Sooo cute to see the bees grab onto one of the flowers with all thier might while they get the nectar from it..   lol!

Wherever I place the faery cottage in our yard every Spring- Nightshade always mysteriously grows around and over it-- like an intentional enhancement from the Faery.     Even last Summer when I placed the cottage in another part of the yard where the Nightshade doesnt grow--  suddenly,  a few weeks later, there was  nightshade growing right over and around it !      It is a very vital plant for the native wildlife.  Even though it may seem like a parasite plant because the vines can climb things-   all one has to do is just keep after it and retrain the vines to where you want them to climb-- or prune it here and there.    Like Jewelweed, it's  a very attractive wild plant.    I"ve seen hummingbirds take the nectar from the flowers of these too!

My Recent Faery Experiences:

Just want to share a few recent experiences I  believe came from the Fae - and I believe God was also involved with the 2nd one.        I work alot of late hours at work these past few months, but always let the Faery know that my home is their home- and they are always welcome with me.

My computer is near a wall to my left and right near the computer is a hand carved thick wooden picture frame that is framing a woodland painting of a windy trail hidden within a forest.    On top of the frame I have a little miniature basket carved from a walnut shell , holding two miniature birds.

Well,  because when I do usually get online, it's often rather late at night while checking my email, I often nod off to sleep at my computer.    Lately, these past 2 weeks, I've been gently woken up by some invisible energy pushing my head off while I am nodding off.     Whomever is doing this also makes the picture frame move on the wall at the same time- as though they are reaching to wake me up while they are standing/sitting on the frame!      Mysteriously, the little hand carved basket does not fall off of the frame when the frame moves.      I am often awake enough to see the frame move too.

It looks to me that I have a concerned Faery loved one in my room who is helping me from falling asleep at my computer.!    So this morning ( I have off from work today and tomorrow)   I put a cherry and a potato chip on the frame for him/her to enjoy 🙂

2nd Experience:

Yesterday I was planting some "Rock Sedum"  at our church- in a bare arid spot that needed something growing there.   Some of the old trees growing nearby had dropped some of their seedling thingies that look like mini furry fox tails.   These trees are very old, but I dont want some of the "super gardener" folks in my church to cut them down because they consider them "messy",.    I then got a broom to sweep all of these little "fox tails" off of the driveway there when suddenly this foreign thought entered my mind to gather all of these things up into one pile and use it as a type of "mulch" to cover the barren soil all over that area I planted the Rock Sedum.     I watered the Sedum first, then covered the bare arid soil with these things as a ground cover.

That morning I had asked God and the Faeries to be with me that entire day-  and I felt such a joyful presence with me throughout.  I had spent the entire day away from home getting my car done, doing errands, then picking up trash, gardening and cleaning our church.   Their presence was so strong that I was literally singing while cleaning and planting out in the heat.    I even saw two hummingbirds watch me as they chirped from up in those same trees that dropped those "fox tails" !  It was such a magical day!

While picking up trash on the road near the church- I noticed that the faery arranged for some of the same plants used as groundcover landscaping on our church grounds to take root on that roadside near the church.   In fact, they are doing much BETTER there than on the church grounds!     Alot of native flowers graced that area as well and I was shocked to see fragrant honeysuckle growing there too!   (I took a cutting!)   It was so satisfying picking up beer cans, plastic bottles and even a used baby diaper and clearing the entire area to reveal all of the natural wild beauty there.

3rd Experience.

This weekend, my 9 year old nephew slept over, and we had a great time.  That first morning I went out to the patio and was surprised to see this vERY large black butterfly like creature come out of nowhere up off of the ground and fly right past me.   Noone else seemed to see it.

Then that afternoon my nephew came with me to pick up any trash along the pond down our road- where I have strongly sensed the faery's presence -- so much so that I now greet them out loud each time I go there.     On our way back as we continued to pick up trash,  something made me look directly at a certain patch of large clovers growing right on the roadside.   I began thinking of 4-leafed clovers and was contemplating a recent conversation I had with my mother about how I read how the Leprechauns use the 4 leaf clover as their insignia,  --  How each leaf represents the four elements.

While feeling led to look at these clovers -- right before my eyes I spotted a very large 4-leaf clover!    My nephew was so excited that he kept trying to find another one.   I felt guided to tell him that this clover was a gift from the Leprechauns-- (Especially from the one Elven Being that goes with me on my walks ;-),   as a gift for the both of us for cleaning up the roadside there.    I have the clover flattened out now, and dried- and will be putting it into a little glass covered frame soon- to place in the Faery's Welcoming Area-    and it is for both me and my nephew.  I am keeping it here for safe keeping- so it will last as a memory and Gift from the Leprechauns for my nephew to appreciate even when he grows old.

4th Experience- Yesterday

While waiting for my car to get serviced yesterday, I took a walk across the street to this shopping plaza as I had some free coupons for certain things I wanted to check out.     I always greet the trees planted throughout the shopping area parking lots-  I feel so sad for them, as many of them are planted all by themselves and left isolated and barren.   I send the thought to them that their presence is always loved and appreciated there.    While passing one tree, I felt this strong sense of "please help me" coming from this tree so I felt compelled to walk back toward it.      Hanging from this tree was a rusty Iron metal wire dangling from one of it's limbs.      As soon as I took the wire off of the limbs, I sensed this tree's happiness-- it felt so greatful to be liberated from this.   It must have been strung on this tree for quite awhile as it was very rusty, and the tree was in such a place where not many people walk by it.     I felt such a happiness from this tree that it made me smile all the way up to the Ulta cosmetics store I was heading to!

This past Saturday I felt a presence near this large Oak tree near a Dollar store my family was visiting.   I looked toward the tree only to see a beer can wedged between one of it's lower limbs.    As soon as I removed the can, I felt a sense of happiness from that tree.     Of course, my father had to ask me why I was bothering to take the can from the tree- and sneered at me for doing so , but I 've learned along time ago that we are not on this Earth to conform to the narrow minded person's standards of thinking.

hugs and have a Happy 4th of July!

Today I will be doing some gardening and transplanting- and re-filling the hummingbird feeders.  will keep you all updated! I really can feel the Faery's presence all over the place here- even in the city areas yesterday near the shopping malls and car repair centers!

Okay, just came in from gardening and weeding and had something else happen to me again!

I've been feeling a peaceful joyful presence this whole weekend and 2 days I've been off from work, and this afternoon was no different. 🙂

This morning while still in bed, I felt like God was telling me today that my job would be to fix up the landscaping in the front of our house.   This would be a good idea as if I don't do it, I won't have another chance and my father will be dumping weed killer all over there.   He already used weedkiller all over the backyard after he hid it from so I wouldnt find it.  Now most of our back yard looks like a drought hit it because the weedkiller just doesnt affect what you dump it on - it keeps spreading.

So anyway, I sought wisdom in what plants not to pull up from the front of the house, and ended up leaving clumps of pretty clover, some night shade, and some strategic clumps of grass that look like decorative grasses you can actually buy to enhance areas for landscaping.     I left some other native plants, and just weeded out tons of crabgrass, and other debris.  Planted a small azalea bush as well nestled near some lilies and potted some baby maples and a  Birch sapling that seeded itself there -- it looks really nice now.   After I finished some butterflies flittered about over all of the plants.

When I put everything away and just stood there admiring all of the native plants co-existing with the non -natives,  This beautiful, rather large for a butterfly , orangy winged creature flew right over the garden then past me.  At first I thought it was a monarch, but it had alot of white in it and its winged span was larger than any butterfly but smaller than a bird.   When I turned to follow it with my eyes,   it had totally dissapeared!

Great butterfly story Lisa, thanks for sharing! Well, actually, I've really enjoyed all of the ones you have recently posted.  Love the leprechaun/four leaf clover story a lot!  So sad about the tree needing help but it was great that you could be there to help.  So nice to hear that you were able to take care of your yard before your father got to it!  My father was just like that! 🙂

I'm pretty sure we are in agreement that your "butterfly" wasn't just a butterfly.

I had a similar experience several months ago when I was in my doctor's office for a physical.  I tend to get kind of nervous waiting in the room for the doctor and this time I was doing some deep breathing and cleansing breaths to keep myself relaxed. Then, all of a sudden, I saw a medium-sized brownish butterfly flying quickly across the room in front of me so I was looking directly at it as it flew by. All of a sudden, mid flight, it just disappeared.  It was flying fairly fast one minute in straight line and suddenly, when it was right in front of me, it was gone.  I'm guessing it was pixies–they must have accompanied me to the doctor to help keep me  from stressing too much.  I'm not sure if that worked but it certainly distracted me for a while, giving me something else to think about for sure!

wow! Natalie, I just got a chance to visit the forum today- and your post about this "butterfly" (which we know was the Fae/Pixies letting you know they were there)  is the first one I read here today-    What a beautiful way they let themselves be known  🙂

I was over at the pond I go a few weeks ago, and   while sitting on the grass near the pond, asked any fairykind   in the vicinity to feel free to get a dragonfly to land on me to let me know they were there-   This is the same pond I have felt thier presence many times before, and the same pond I was mysteriously led by dragonflies to a small buried glass vase.

I begn speaking to them-- telling them all not to be discouraged at the Environmental chaos they see from mankind- because the Lord will be ending mankind's rule on this Earth eventually and Earth's Restoration will follow.

After I was done telling them this-   a blue/green dragonfly (not those smaller neon damsel flies)  flew right up on my leg and looked at me.    I felt soooo honored!!!

have a great day and give Mr. E and the Elves a hug from me  🙂

love, Lisa

Hi, i am really enjoying reading all your stories about fairies.  My sister in law told me that when she was 12 (now 41) she lived in Rural Western Australia.  She was wandering around but somehow, she ended up getting a little lost.  As she stepped over a fallen tree, she came face to face with a fairy.  They both were as shock by each others appearance.  More like, startled.  She had described that this fairy was maybe the size of a pinky or a tiny bit bigger. It looked female with long hair.  It had a human face and she was very pretty.  She definitely had wings too.  She looked at this tiny wonder for several seconds, before the small being vanished so fast.  My sister in law believes to this day that what she saw was a real life fairy.  What else could it have been?

I have had quite a number of paranormal experiences in my life but I also am a firm believer of ghosts because i have seen them and i have lived in several houses that were haunted.  But i wondered if they were all haunted by deceased people or were some of them perhaps fairies?

One day, i was laying beside my hubby in bed. The room was dark.  I opened my eyes, and looked up, to see a bright tiny object, a bit larger than the stars you would see in the night sky do a zig zag up near the ceiling and seemed to disappear through the wall, about 3 inches from the ceiling.  I was a bit nervous after that experience and slept with the light on for the rest of the night. Also other things happened in that house. Doors opened and closed all by themselves. Washing basket violently crashed to the floor, and there is no way it could have happened.

Another house i lived in.. i saw from the corner of my eye, little tiny sparkly orbs or something. It reminded me of how an insect would fly around you out of curiosity but i know it wasn't an insect. It seemed to be playing games with me.  That place i definitely knew was haunted. I even witnessed a receipt rotating on the bench… ALL BY ITSELF and my sister was my witness.  We felt touchings. I have felt touches on my back, my hips.  I was laying in bed and just about fell asleep when something touched my right hip. To best describe it, it felt like fingers, but it left a tingling, somewhat electrical kind of sensation.  I was startled because it happened without warning.  I immediately turned over to face the other side, only to be touched on the opposite hip with that same tingling sensation.  I moved from there to this place about 2 months ago and i hear sounds and other weird things and i get the 'impression' that i am being watched.

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for sharing your sister in law's encounter-   Wow!

The faery's startled reaction to her reminds me of my own encounter 4 years ago- how the Pixie I encountered also got startled when she realized I was able to see her that morning.

The lights you saw do sound like Faery-   and the touches could be too-  not sure though ,as there are many types of entities out there-

I've had several encounters with the Fae, but today I'd like to share my most meaningful.Smile

When I was around eight, I saw my first fairy. It was on a night in the summer that I was lying in bed...tired, but unable to sleep. I remember looking at the clock to see that it was around midnight. Well, as I was tossing and turning in my sheets, something bright, red, and orange caught the corner of my eye. I twisted my head around to look at it, and right outside of my bedroom window was a bright, flaming, winged fairy.

Her eyes were tilted upwards, the pupils a glittering gold. She had no irises, which was pretty interesting. Her hair was made of red flames, and floated around her head, as if she was underwater. Her wings were large and her skin was orange, but the flames didn't appear to bother her at all. The fairy also wore a gold and orange dress. She wasn't exactly corporeal, but she wasn't just mist either. Her substance could only be described as fire.

Well, when my mind had digested all of this, I screamed and hid at the other side of my bed, away from the window. When I was brave enough to peek out of my covers, she was gone.

It's been years later, and I've still never forgotten that night...and I don't think I ever will. I'm just extremely thankful to have met her...even if I was screaming my lungs out. Laugh

"Be like the bird that feels the branches tumble from beneath her, and yet continues her song, knowing she has wings."
